I think my mother instilled the obsession with letters...maybe it was my Aunt Susie...I am not sure. But I LOVE letters! I especially love the letter S. I was very glad when I got married to Nick not to have to change the S in Kristen S! I was feeling pretty craftsy the other night and painted this letter S to put on our fireplace. I think it turned out cute...I might go for the rest of it too....

Hey Kristen! This has nothing to do with your blog (although it is a very cute crafty "S") but did you know or remember Lacey Nemeyer? My mom told me the other day she is going to the olympics to swim for USA! Crazy huh, she just got in because this other girl had to drop out.
aw- I'd love to see more pics of your place- I bet it's all decked out and cute! Isn't it great to have hubbies who let us give our homes a flair, even if they don't understand it?
Cute S...your brave to make crafty things...I tend to buy them...I do have an old dresser that we could redo sometime though...it's Wyatt's from when he was Johns roomate...it's cute, but needs to be re-done...also I'm pretty sure that Lacey made the olympics because she made the olympics...not becuase some girl dropped out.
I think we both got that liking for letters from your Aunt Susie...she always has such good ideas. :)
And for the record... Lacey made the Olympics by qualifying.. she is going for the GOLD! Go Lacey!!!!
Hey, all my ideas are stolen from someone else - it's fun to share!! Love your craft - I'm with Becky though, I want to buy it or have the RS enrichment leader demo on my project so that it will get done!! This morning I just spoke to Sheri, Lacey's aunt, she was telling me Lacey's parents are already in Beijing - how exciting!!
Just to set the record straight Lacey (#3 spot) is swimming the 100 meter freestyle race because Dara Torres who had the #2 spot dropped out to focus on the 50 meter race and Lacey did qualify for the 4 X 100 relay. But whatever the case she is a fabulous swimmer and I can't wait to watch her and all the other great athletes.
Cute, cute! My decorations tend to be super sized. I never reolized it until someone pointed it out to me. Maybe I'll blog it sometime. Also, I'm with Debbie in that I would like to see more pitures of your place. You never get to see the inside of people's homes, especially if their done up cute. Nikki
I love little crafty things! Especially when it comes to making your house feel homier...if that's a word! I do have the 'S' you gave me. But I, like your sister, prefer to BUY my stuff anymore. Mostly in Amish country. Nick grew up around crafty little cutesie things,so I know he REALLY likes it (don't you Nicholas?)

Way cute!! you should totally make all the other letters. I totally agree about Stephenie Myer writing another book in the series. I would love if she did. Have you read The Host yet? I started it on Saturday and love it already.
