GOOOOO D-Backs!

Nick and I made a quick trip up to Phoenix to go to a Diamondbacks game, which was SO fun! First we did a session at the Mesa Temple. It is such a pretty and calming place to be. The weather wasn't too bad actually. It was really overcast! So then after the Temple we were going to go to my favorite place to shop...LAST CHANCE ( Those Shipley girls got me hooked on that!), but we decided to go to the game. GOOD thing we didn't stop, because the game we thought started at 7:40 actually started at 6:40. We got there around 7:00 so it wasn't a big deal. The game was awesome. It was my ( Kristen) first Diamond backs baseball game and they WON. Nick has been to 15 games and has NEVER seen them win...guess I am a lucky charm or something. :) After the game they opened up the roof and had an amazing firwork show. It must have lasted 15 minutes!

It as so fun to leave Tucson and get away for that little bit!

Another Fun Time with Trey!!!

We were able to spend some more time with Trey this weekend. Nick took him to the mall and got him a new Phoenix Suns jersey ( he looks so cute!), and a new Phoenix Suns hat! He is going to a birthday party tonight and is gonna look stylin! They got home to pick me up and we decided to go to dinner at Macayos! We had a lot of fun...especially when we were serenaded by our friend Jose. He came up to us and asked if we wanted to make a request for a song....the only spanish song I could think of was " La Bumba". So he sang the song and we gave him a buck. Generous I thought for 20 seconds of song! Then he came back and Nick requested another song and he told us he would only do it for $5.00!!! Yeah right!!! We said sorry to Jose and sent hm on his way! The nerve! :) The night ended with Nick and Trey playing computer games....( I still don't understand the thrill of it all). So, another fun night with Trey!

Fun times with the GIRLS!

Last weekend we decided to have a little celebration for Becky...a late wedding party for her. After a yummy lunch at Olive Garden and Shirley Temples all around, we hit the streets of Chandler to shop shop shop! We ended up at Arizona Mills Mall (SCARY) and surprisingly circled it all around 1 time! We wanted to see a scary movie so we decided (actually Becky and Robin) on "Skin Walkers". DON'T waste money on that movie! It was so stupid so we decided to go to see HAIRSPRAY! It was SUCH a fun feeling movie! By this time it was about 10:00 and we thought we would be CRAZY and stay out a little longer...so we went to Cheesecake Factory for a "late night" snack! The cheesecake was great...but after that we were pooped! So we went back to our favorite little resort in Mesa " The Buttes". It was about 105 when we got back at 11:00 at night but the drive to the top of the resort was so pretty! We got into our room and pretty much all passed out! Thank goodness Robin has her snoring under control now, or my night would have been sleepless! :) We got up in the morning and had a wonderful buffet style breakfast. The waffles were to DIE for!!! Then Becky left (party pooper) and Robin, Lexy and I sat around and swam in the pool.

It was such a fun weekend and really nice to spend time with the girls. We all are so weird and funny in our own ways and that makes it such a fun time! Thanks Robin for a GREAT time!

Our FUN night with Trey!

Nick and I got to spend a little time today with our buddy Trey! Nick went and picked him up at Grandma P-Diddy's house and then brought him back to our apartment. Instead of going bowling...the boys decided they would rather play games on our new computer (?). So, I got home from work and we were all hungry so Trey got to pick where we were gonna eat. Applebees it was! I made the mistake of asking Trey what his favorite meal there was. He said, BBQ wings...and the discussion of wings came up of course between the boys. I was soon out numbered and we had to go to WING STOP! Yes, I, Kristen ate at Wing Stop! It was fun and the boys ate their wings like men. We then went to my parents house and hung out while Trey and my brother Scott swam for awhile. SO...it was a VERY fun night with Mr. Trey!

The Smith Site!

Hey guys! Well, I have a girlfriend up in Mesa who does this blogspot thing with her family and it seems to work pretty well with staying in touch and seeing what everyone is up to. I think it would be fun if we could get into it a little bit too! you just have to register your families name and then start putting up pictures. It is pretty self explanitory on how to do it ( I, KRISTEN, put this little thing together). So...I think it would be really fun. I am working on getting my wedding DVD of my pictures so I can post them.
