JAKE IS HOME!
Nick's brother Jake got home from Afghanistan Sunday! He got in around 1:15 in Phoenix. I never knew the National Guard had their own wing for military at the airport. Nick has been so excited to have his baby brother back! It was such a sweet reunion for Jakey and his family. You couldn't help but get emotional seeing strangers being reunited with their loved ones who have been gone for so long and in such scary, trying circumstances. We are so proud of our Jake and can't wait to be more involved in his life! Nick and I gave him a welcome home present. We got him an extra long beef jerky stick! As you can see in the picture, it looks pretty tastey! :)

Now there are some HUGE smiles on everyones face!!!! How wonderful to have him home safe - he looks like he needs a good night rest!!! Thanks Jake for serving our country and keeping us safe!
